An overview of TRC, our courses and entry requirements, our facilities and support available. The presentation can be tailored to fit an assembly or information session. Depending on availability some of your ex-students may be able to join the session to talk about transition to College from the student perspective.
Delivered by our Careers Team, an information session explaining the difference between A Level, T Level and BTEC qualifications and how the different course structures suit individual learners; followed by an overview of TRC’s Level 3 provision, entry requirements and progression pathways into university, apprenticeships and employment.
Subject to availability, our curriculum staff can deliver subject presentations and workshops in College.
Our Careers team are available to deliver a presentation to inspire, support and guide your students when making their subject choices and pathway decisions with focus on progression opportunities at Post-16.
College tours are available throughout the year and are a great insight into student life and the college environment. We are happy to accommodate individuals or groups of students. The tour will cover the whole campus and students will be able to see classrooms, labs, sports facilities, social areas and our Learning Resources Centre.
Hold a GCSE revision day at TRC designed to motivate and inspire your learners. Add on a college tour or subject taster to help inspire your students towards their next step.
Our Student Crew are available to visit your school to talk about the benefits of college, student life, how Level 3 study differs from GCSE and the commitment required for independent learning at college! Subject to timetable availability.
We can help support your interviews in school or arrange them here at TRC. Your students will gain an insight into what is expected in a real-life interview. Constructive feedback and tips for improvement will be provided.
Students can sample a range of subjects, find out about the support available, access careers advice and gain an insight into college life! Come for a morning or afternoon session, subject to staff availability.
Your staff and students are welcome to attend our Careers Fair held in October. We have over 60 exhibitors including local employers and HE institutions available for your students to talk to. On arrival students will be given information about the organisations and some example questions to ask to get the best out of their visit.
