Secure an apprenticeship after TRC
Please take a look through the May edition of Choices – The monthly parent & carer guide to apprenticeships and technical education.
While the current priority for our students is understandably their exams and assessments, we are committed to ensuring that every student has a positive progression route beyond college. With this in mind, we are running a series of ‘Mind the Gap’ sessions in June and July; these sessions delivered by our Careers team will focus on:
- Searching and applying for apprenticeship or employment vacancies
- Making late or deferred applications to university
- Exploring alternative progression routes
Please reserve a place for your son/daughter
Sessions 4th-12th June (ideal for BTEC students who have already completed studies)
Sessions 24th June – 12th July (ideal for students when they have completed exams)
At TRC we send a weekly ‘futures’ email to students with relevant apprenticeship and employment vacancies listed in it – please encourage students to keep checking this! The careers team can also support 1:1 student applications – please contact careers@trc.ac.uk.
