We hope that at TRC students are studying subjects that they enjoy and excel at. When it comes to career planning as well as knowing what your skills are and how you can apply them to a particular career sector, it’s also important to know what job opportunities there may be for you. Whilst ways of working have changed in a way that makes international opportunities viable it’s also good to know what’s happening on our doorstep in terms of the growth sectors in our local economy.

Higher skilled jobs are less likely to be automated! And whilst many routine aspects of work are being replaced by robotics – for example Amazon stores where you scan and pay without the need for a human retail assistant – employers more than ever want to recruit people with unique skillsets.
