Please see below the letter from Ofqual (the body in charge of qualifications, exams and grading) about how they will decide your grades for this summer’s exams. PLEASE READ IT. It will answer all the questions that many of you have asked in recent days.

Please note Ofqual have yet to decide how the process will work for BTEC awards.

Please continue to do the work you have been set from college. For A level students, the work you are being set will allow you to finish your course, especially important if you are planning on pursuing these areas at University.

Please do not contact your teachers about predicted grades. I have told them specifically not to discuss these grades with you and the guidance makes clear that they will be only one factor in a complicated calculation that will decide your grade.
